What Is In A Name?

I am drawn to the idea that the environment and earth that surrounds us impacts our bodies. If the moon can move oceans, the idea it impacts our menstrual cycle doesn't seem impossible.  I wouldn't suggest relying entirely on the moon and crystals to bring about conception but using some ancient traditions feels hopeful and calm. I chose moonstone as a name because it embodies my vision for myself and those I support.

Lunar Cycle

It takes the moon 28 days to complete one full orbit around Earth. A woman's "typical" cycle is about 28 days long. Hmmm, that is interesting. Now, I say typical because there are obvious variations to the time but looking historically and as a species there are benefits to women in the same tribe ovulating at the same time. How do you feel during a full moon or new moon?
